JLE-NS Membership Requirements

Age
Prospective Members must be a woman 21 years of age or older, as of January 31st of their Provisional year . In addition, no member shall be at any time a member of more than one Junior League.

Residence
Prospective members must be currently residing in the Chicago Metropolitan Area.

Application Deadline
Applications will be provided at the Informational Meetings. Completed applications must be returned to the JLE-NS Headquarters by October 31.

Financial Responsibilities

·  Annual Membership dues for Active Members are $190.00.

·  Annual Membership dues for New Members are $200.00. This additional charge is to cover the educational material for the New Member Course.

·  The dues are completely tax-deductible and we accept American Express, MasterCard, VISA, and Discover.

General Membership Meetings & Trainings
In addition to completing the New Member Orientation (to be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.) and Skills Training, each New Member will attend two (2) General Membership Meetings and work four (4) Thrift Store shifts.

Informational Meetings
Prospective Members are encouraged to attend our Informational Meeting in September
